To have an experiential experience of the joy, rest and peace of Shabba. To utilize the wisdom of our ancestors to connect us to our tradition and past and to learn from the wisdom of G-d's creation (nature).
We are going to start the commemoration to Holocaust Remembrance Day by listening and discussing only 2 stories of the many thousands of stories of the Holocaust.
Students will see how historical Jewish communities have worked to keep Judaism alive and better understand how
we have chosen to live as Jews in the modern world.
Students will form an understanding that Jews during the time of the Temple
were not so different from them - they liked to sing and dance and play instruments just like the students do today.
